How automatic delivery works
1. Check-in — you click “Check In” periodically. The system tracks your last check-in.
2. Missed check-in — if you miss your interval, MyEcho emails your primary beneficiary asking them to confirm your passing.
3. Beneficiary confirms — they click the link in the email. The server immediately checks public death records (SSDI, Legacy.com, Find A Grave) to verify.
4. Messages released — once confirmed, all stored messages and memories are delivered to beneficiaries.
5. Fallback (2× overdue) — if no response after two intervals, messages deliver automatically (you may be incapacitated).
6. Scheduled messages (birthdays, anniversaries) deliver on their date regardless.
Set a Primary Beneficiary in the Beneficiaries tab — this is the person who receives the confirmation request. Your vault password never leaves your device.
